Singing Band
Every third Sabbath of the month a small group lead by Muriel Foster meets in the Fellowship Hall following the worship service. After a quick lunch, they head for the Gladstone Care and Rehab Center in Glendora. It is there that a group of elderly residents await to hear gospel hymns and praises performed especially for them. Many do not have regular visits from family members through out the week and look forward to the singing band. This is a wonderful opportunity to witness to shut-in members of the community and offer them hope.
Food Baskets
The church recognizes there are many within the local community who lack not only the knowledge of Jesus Christ but basic necessities such as food and clothing. Especially during the holidays, this is a wonderful opportunity for the church to reach out to these people. Members donate canned goods, turkeys, toys and more during Thanksgiving and Christmas in addition to Steps to Christ.
Prayer Room
This is a place where anyone in need of spiritual guidance can come before the Lord and pray. The prayer room was dedicated in August 2009 and offers a peaceful atmosphere for all to come and be at one with God. Here you may share whatever is on your heart with the Lord in your own privacy. Or if you wish to have the pastor or an elder pray for you, they are always happy to do so.
