The Little Church on the Hill
The Glendora Seventh-day Adventist Church was established in 1972 over the former grounds of the Harding Military Academy. Services were held every Sabbath in the Academy's cafetorium until 1985. It wasn't until then that members of the Church, along with the Mission Builders, completely renovated the Academy into our current beautiful sanctuary.
Today, we are blessed to have one of the most beautiful church campuses in the city of Glendora. Nestled within inches of the foothills, our Church rests proudly on a little hill in the center of God's nature. On Sabbath mornings it is not uncommon to see deer coming down the mountain and roaming freely about the church grounds.
Our cozy little church is home to a loving church family. Whether you are searching for a place to learn about God, or a community of believers to belong to, The Little Church on the Hill is a wonderful church to call home.
Our Mission
The mission of our Church is to glorify God and, under the influence of the Holy Spirit, lead every convert to experience a personal and transforming relationship with Christ, enabling them to become a disciple in sharing the everlasting gospel with everyone.
Our Glendora Church is a member of the world-wide Seventh-day Adventist denomination. We teach the authenticity of the whole Bible, with salvation through faith in Christ as our central theme. As our name implies, we believe in the soon return of Jesus and in the observance of the Biblical Sabbath. To learn more about what Seventh-day Adventists believe, click here.
Our Vision
We believe that each member is a brother or sister in Christ, entrusted with at least one spiritual gift to use for the benefit of the advancement of the kingdom of God. The Church will seek to provide opportunities for training and utilization of these gifts in ministry.
